Re: Hyena's super awesome isolated high current balance char
Yes had my unit for about a month now and can report great things too, its so fast the packs are always balanced 100% not only that but if you want to boost the pack in your lunch break or whilst out on a ride it levels the pack off really quickly whilst charging too so you can unplug and use a bala...

Re: E-biker Rage
I had a regular cyclist the other day get mad and try and talk down electric bikes. He was pissed I stayed in front of him for 6 miles without pedaling hard. He called me a cheater.. lol  My answer to the your a cheater statement is no driving a car is cheating! ha ha, using an electric power...

Re: Armstrong stops fighting doping charges
I agree even if Lance was doping at the time so many of the other riders were as well that he was still better even if he was doping,I dont think they should strip him of his titles unless they can prove it, its unfair IMHO and I still have a massive amount of respect for a person who can almost die...

Re: E-biker Rage
It annoys me in the same way, usually because car drivers don't realise that I'm usually going to out accelerate them away from lights, especially if I'm ahead of them on the cyclists ASL at the lights, so they then need to overtake me properly when they catch me up, not just drive me into the gutt...

Re: E-biker Rage
Yep This happens to me all the time too, it seems car drivers dont seem to expect that a cyclist might overtake another cyclist? in the UK they are supposed to give a cars width when they overtake so the driver must be in the wrong here, I generally dont get the hump with drivers that pull out on me...

Re: Strange clicking sound in hub motor
Yes I am thinking either rotor magnet damage or a piece of something between the rotor and the stator, should be fairly obvious by splitting the drive but understand thats not for everyone to go ahead and do, maybe contact the supplier.

Re: Strange clicking sound in hub motor
it will most likely be the one way bearing or possibly the rotor as it only makes a sound when the motor drives.

you can use any grease to be honest, you dont need much though less is more
nylon gears are self lubricating anyway but a little dab of grease is a good idea.

Re: breaking 35 mph?
Just my 2 cents here I think that 30mph on that bike is more than fast enough, to get your speed up and over 35mph it requires a significant increase in power and trust me cars will still pass you even when you are doing 35mph! it makes no difference cars see a bike and they think overtake...overtak...

Re: 30mph UK road legal electric bicycle
Crikey Thats a First! Never seen that done in the UK before and fair play for doing so too, if it were me though It would have to be the cromotor in there to make all the hassle worthwhile a 9C with a 3 position power switch and a 250W sticker is all you need in the UK and as long as you keep peddli...

Re: Cheap alternative to gopro finaly
It does do 1080P although I havent tried that mode yet as my card isnt fast enough :? I need a class 6 or higher, funny though as I use that card on the Gopro at full res, the Gopro isnt quite as fussy and maybe more efficient video wise, for use in the car I dont need 1080P thogh as 1280 x 720 is f...

Re: Cheap alternative to gopro finaly
The video from them isnt bad to be honest its just the price is too high still for me esp when the Gopro and the Drift have come right down in price and there is a lot of competition in this market now, its also a huge growth market too, Gopro are by a very long way the leaders in this tech, you see...

Re: Cheap alternative to gopro finaly
The Problem with the RD32 is the Codec it uses on the video side its terrible, buggy and not supported by hardly any video editing programs meaning you have to convert the clips (if you can) to something suitable first (check the techmoan review of this camera on youtube) you can pick up a Gopro HD h...

Ha ha yes I know I cant watch it but my kids love it!! Re: Why Use a 2 Stroke Bike as the pace bike at the olympics
I think the theme they were trying to portray there was nothing more than displaying what we were once like during the start of the industrial revolution, I will agree though that at times the ceremony was a little over the top but then many are arent they. My point is just that it seems ridiculous ...
