Lipo blown up dunno why :(
Hey;) These days I did my first rides with my diy e-board some midnight riding after I got everything working and couldn't wait anymore and the next day I drove it to work, then I drove home but in the middle of a steep part I noticed a power loss. I immediately stopped and saw that one of my two Li...

Re: Noob does Hubz! (Build Topic)
Cause I couldn't get my Arduinos work, I ordered a Quanum Remote from HK as temporary solution. With it then also went off to test drive at midnight .. was my first e-board ride ever! Amazing! :D The next day I drove to work, still amazing, then I drove home but in the middle of a steep part I notic...

Re: 10S custom skate ESC: testers wanted!
Hey short question, is it possible to harm the VESC if I connected receiver wires wrong? I connect like this: RX(arduino) -to- VESC gnd ------------------- gnd signal ---------------- + (5v?) 5v pin ----------------- signal could that cause damage to my vesc?-.- or should the signal pin can handle ...

Re: Balance connector only or can it handle also main leads?
That switch doesn't look like it has a high amp rating, so you might burn up the contacts. If it's a DP switch you could double up to double the amp rating, but you should really get a DC switch at least rated for 32V and enough amps to match the max amps of the controller you use. I don't know for...

Balance connector only or can it handle also main leads?
Hey, I'm gonna use this... IMG_0418 - Kopie.JPG ...as balance lead. And I wondered if I could use 4pins on each side (in paralel) for the main leads of my charger. I'm ganna use this one: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__78387__Turnigy_Accucell_6_50W_6A_Balancer_Charger_LiHV_Capable_UK_War...

Re: Open Source Arduino transmitter/receiver for (V)ESC
Today I found this awesome guide https://maniacbug.wordpress.com/2011/11/02/getting-started-rf24/ , and so I tried the ''getting started'' sketch from the rf24 class. What I figured out: My TX recognises the RF24 module TX recognize RF24.png also my RX recognises the RF24 module Also RC recognize RF...

Re: Open Source Arduino transmitter/receiver for (V)ESC
but if so I can't explain the video, the random motor twists begin when i power my tx. Did you enable 'safe start' in the VESC Applications/PPM options? If not, please do so and reboot VESC. Indeed, your two Arduino's don't communicate. Did you connect the nrf42L01+ in both Arduinos? Did you try so...

Ok, now i cored out the wheel, CNC ftw (were in holidays before). Still not sure wich glue I'll use.. I finally got my VESC and soldered it together, it works via BLDC tool.. Soldered together Arduino-Nunchuk-remote but didn't work, so i did it again, and still doesn't work >< https://endless-sphere...

Re: Open Source Arduino transmitter/receiver for (V)ESC
You should first check if the transmitter reads ok values from the potentiometer, using Serial connection. In the Arduino IDE, uncomment line 70+71 Serial.println(potValueA) and upload/run the modified script nrf24l01_transmitter and open Tools/Serial Monitor using 115200 Baud rate and check output...

Totally random what happens, even if I set up current with brake (no reverse) motor spins backwards some times. I don't even have to trigger the pot to make something happen, give power to tx is enough.....

Still doesn't work, its 100% soldered in the right way, tripple checked, and switched both arduinos-.-
Again: Is there any way to check communication betweeen these two on my PC?

After uploading sketches everything should work?Or do i have something more to do? Are there any possibility to check the communication between these two on the serial monitor?
(Left) is the transceiver, (Right) the receiver, shouldn't the receiver also give some data?- Sep 13 2015 8:16am

Yes. You need good speed before going, at least 3 - 5 kicks. Else, they will cog. After that, it pulls strong. Pretty sure it will go over 20mph. I've ridden so many setups that I can tell already. Did it on both 6s with Xerun and Fvt ESCs. Waiting for 8s Mamba XL2. I think I'd eventually end up wi...

Re: So I bought a lathe...and made Hub Motors
Good Job!
You were great inspiration to me.
Did you already tested the 1 wheel version? Ever thinked about diagonal Hub motors?
I'm still not sure if I will go dual diag, dual rear or front (live in the Alps have many steep hills).
But I'll look first if I get running at least one motor:Dhaha
