Re: Searching low € / kWh battery chemistry

I'd try Samsung 21700-50E. 10A rated. I'm looking at it right now... less weight, size and volume and half the amount of battery cells and negative is less estimated charge cycles from it and price about 10% more expensive.

Yeah its hard to do an investigation from afar. I guess I'd open it but your waiting for a response from the seller. I saw someone online that had the positive and negative wires in wrong order, but that would kill it the first time you finished your setup and if you try you can really get a broken ...

Re: sabvoton SVMC72200 blew on 1st run

What is your voltage from your battery?
What is your battery power level and setup? Are all its connection good and have you tried your battery so that it is OK?

If you can; how does your controller look inside and do you know if a part is broken if you se it?

Re: concerns about lipos

6s lipo Check total voltage = V X voltage i.e the one cell you wonder about is y5+x = V Known voltage is for example 24,5 and cells 1-5 is 4,2 volt each then 4,2*5 + x = 24,5 ( -21 x = 3,5 voltage of cell in this example is 3,5 If voltage total reads about 25,2 volt as it should then your last cell ...

Re: greentime controller 24 fet 48-84v 65a Need Wiring Help

Do you have a CA connector on your Greentime controller? (that is like a display connector) displays does have buttons and on/off switches. If you don't know which wires need to be used to turn the controller on/off or if you don't have a display or CA then it can be hacked. First open the controlle...

I second that. Samsung 29e cells or (Panasonic) with good cycle life and performance.(10a or 2-3c continuous) For a big pack I like it to keep its kwh and not lose capacity after 100-200 cycles. Some that I recently researched. Samsung 35e, and 30q,LG m1j did for some reason lose maximum capacity an...

Nice try.. Quite similar as my newly develop 416 Open Frame Power Pack kit. http://bit.ly/416OFPPK Soldering is fine if is for small area. When you have large area, the consistency will be affected. Another disadvantage of soldering is it fixed. Cannot change. Of course, the benefit is you have a l...

First time doing this. First battery build I need alot of power and battery and this first is a 4s16p block of about 550wh https://i.imgur.com/mLDbHIr.jpg How I did it: I used the original stripes and boosted them with copper wick. One for the parallel and about four wicks in every series connection...

Re: Random battery combination idea.

I don't get it. Will you charge one battery with another when you ride? How long would it take to fuel if you do a long range race? I mean 20 minutes, can you stay and charge that amount of time when petrolheads fuel theirs? A fast charger are more costly so why not even get a larger battery. say 50...

In summary I ask What is the output signal from a hall wire? What numbers of wires do I need as a minimum and how do I connect this/these wires to only get that signal? You may have figured this out, but here's my two cents. On my Sabvoton, for any connector that has a black wire (throttle, halls, ...

I totally removed the other casing and added a COMPUTER GRAPHICS CARD COOLER TO IT. What do you think about that? Then I fastened it on a plastic plate and added wires and a swich for +12v so to activate the cooler. Sadly I don't remember what feels my controller uses if it where 4410 or 4110 so its...

Hi Did you buy the battery and the charger from the same place? Local or from China? Does the battery voltage state the same as the charger. 36v battery, 36v charger? A fully charged battery or charger effective output will show almost 42v usually for a 36v charger or battery. Yes its good to first ...
