Re: Super Soco TS Upgrade
Its calculated in a different way Battery amps and phase amps. Phase amps is true battery amps I guess but modulated or multiplied by a performance controller. I don't know how it works just that it gives a lot of power. Battery amps max is 150A Battery phase amps from the controller into the motor ...

What do you measure on the hall power, ground, and signal wires when you are having the issue, vs when you are not? I will test when I can but I'm not like in the dessert but time is running after me! :D Your guess may be true. Heat may affect my performance alltough not yet made any significance e...

Re: Sabvoton Hall Fault Error 13
I've got the same error and are troubleshooting everything. Sometimes ground has been compromised through the frame from another wire I think (small balance wire or thick high voltage charge wire with voltage smashed between battery and frame) and my problem is mostly showing the hall error after 15...

It can do 30,000w 0-70 in 5s and 0-100 maybe 10s. Cars are gone in a second 100 meters behind. The Malectrics welder is better than the sunkko. Good choice! qs 273 motor is the one I think that the soco has. Meaning that you already have the motor. To know for sure is to open up and se for yourself(...

Sup yo nardcox https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2ONwtUexvw This is inside your original motor. This motor is like a qs or similar. I don't know the original specs but max power on original is 30kw or 30000w and I don't know how your new motor compare to original. I think the 29 E7 is a good choice o...

I guessed it would be problems to make it work so I just bought the finished product. I don't have 20 hours to figure it out. I just needed the smalest maximum charge capability for 1-phase charging and so I got it. Yeah GTK... I think I bought it private but the seller bought it from GTK so drop sh...

I bought a finished unit in the 4850g2 shell or whatever this psu is called. there are 0-90v and 0-120v. cost 200 and just works. The same internals intestines as yours but already modded of course. "pondering" how it all works out but the output is true and charging too - so I believe :D ...

Im aware of the dangers, and I will not be using this on a regular basis. Pack was sitting on a concrete floor with me within 5m regularly checking the BMS. When the cells reached 4.1v, the BMS stopped the charging as I programmed it for. The cells settled just above 4.0v, and in perfect balance, s...

At last a new year and time to use those batteries. I have in total build three of these batteries and here they are in all their glory. https://i.imgur.com/WEJsj83.jpg The first was a 24p which was then changed to 25p for the two last packs. There's a 2s Sanyo Ga 20p ready to start its life soon in...

Re: Batteries involving 40T, 30Q and MJ1 cells. Preferences and opinions.
The reasons are: weight and smallness. I want to keep it as small and light as possible. I plan to take it with me when I park the bike. 200 Wh is about all I need, and even with just that I expect to stay in the 80 to 20% SoC range. I would add that if you want your bike to be lighter then you cou...

1) a 14sx1p battery made with 21700 40T cells (50.4 V) 2) a 10sx2p battery made with 18650 30Q cells (36 V) 3) a 10sx2p battery made with 18650 MJ1 cells (36 V) 4) a 10sx2p battery made with 18650 MG1 cells (36 V) These all contain roughly the same power (200 Wh). I also noticed the Samsung 30Q had some dfifference. However the capacity graph on the side states 100% to 80% and is very similar to Panasonic, Sanyo ga, Sony vtc6 and possibly samsung 35e in the future. Re: Just found 2000 LiFePo 18650 cells in the recycler
If you have any use of them or spare time to sell them after you have tested them straight to be working - that adds value. Without anything I'd se a value of 0-1$ each. tested 1$ or less if one can buy bulk from you. However the market ain't starting for 18650 cells and life4po. Question is why the...

Very cool gomyles. Do you make the bottom bracket as well that you mount on the bike and then add the battery onto?
How many pieces of 3d printing is this?
You can make the 3d print like this and then connect them toghether

Re: Why High C Rate Cells Live Less than Low C Rate?
I would love to use 50e cells for my battery builds but I can't stand they are weak in one sense. I mean 10p 40t cells can be replaced by 35p 50e 21s35p is to big of a battery. (to run them at lower power for better cycle life) What I do to fix this is? Fix a fast charger. is 3000w fast enough? Sure...

"Early Gen1 used 14Kwh of 16Kwh, the later ones used more of a larger bank.." yes you are right. There is very little room for improvement with larger wires at this point... sure I get it. I got 3awg or 25mm^2 for phases and battery leads. Best I have found on terms of power delivery,too,...

Re: How many (V) per (1000w) Output to you drop?
As a percentage, I drop 6.43% of the voltage on a 8000w output with my battery. Are you happy with your battery and the power it gives to you or do you want a better one? The Chevy volt battery is probably the best in terms of longevity. Maybe because of the internal "cooling system" that...

Re: How many (V) per (1000w) Output to you drop?
Is this good? How many volts do you ( on average) drop for every 1000w output? Curious here. Never had an 18650 pack. Your battery pack drops 1,25v for a 1000w output from an input of 82,5v x 12,5A One measure point to use is to draw the same amps from another pack. If that pack is double the amp a...
