Re: Battery/cell monitor for non-bms battery

There are battery medics 1-6s, battery voltage meter 1-8s with or without discharge and balance functionality. Max is 8 series what I know so you need at least the amount of packs that you disassemble your pack into. so if you have 4x 5s packs that's 4 meters.

Priced from about 10-50$ each.

Re: How are electric scooter able to produce so much torque?

I was driving a ktm 390 1500km and yes electric feels better but at 690 or mt07 like you have. Yeah I'd like to feel that power but I don't want to feel those vibrations in my hands after my run.

If you can get a hold of a zero motorcycle for 5000-8000 I would do it directly.

Try make a deal. I had a failed delivery from Aliexpress, nothing for 90 days and I really wanted it asap so you can imagine. I did put up a dispute and Aliexpress denied and just auto-replied that my parcel was in transit for 3 days before taking any further action. Yes, of course it was, and the d...

Making a small pack 5S24P

Just some photos of my small pack I want to share How to assemble: Soldering exactly how: tesla style. One side is fused with wire capable of 5-15a max(deciding), the other more robust fastened with thicker copper wire. Both sides uses twined copper wire as busbar. Hot glue gun to make pack sturdier...

Re: Chargery support

Doing this kind of support is advanced stuff to do especially if you are a one man company and also when you are dealing with a trade overseas. Warranty and repairs will be harder than going to a local store. Track your parcel and se if it has arrived or have been picked up. Detective work, Yes but ...

Re: Sabvoton 7260 strange throttle Control, pleas help

Find 12v or 5v brake settings. High or low voltage brake and turn it off if you have it. Mine did also brake in the begining and stopped after I turned of that setting. It is weird that it is only on that setting it is deaccelerating as you specify. Also when going fast of course you'll lose alot of...

Re: Affording a powerful battery

Currently I am making a small, lightweight, sporty electric motorcycle, and am planning on using the 20kW cyclone hub motor. I'm aware that the 20kW is the peak power, but I still think it's a good choice for it's price. The only problem is the batteries; I'd like to make my own custom battery pack...

Re: Panasonic/Sanyo NCR20700B vs Samsung INR21700-50E

Usually those 21700 have a cut-off-voltage of 2.5V. Most of the BMS have a cut-off at 3V and from my experience with a battery US18650V3 from Sony (now Murata) I used it for over 6 years, so around 1200-1400 cycles (not complete cycles). The battery lost over the time around 20% of its capacity, bu...

Re: Yamaha 150cc conversion

Nice project and best of luck! I recommend you to get a larger battery or you have to lower your power level. Now your battery can be used at about 84v x 100a for a power of 8400 watts. For continuous use I would have to test first and to test a battery after its been build already is kind of a expe...

Yes I can put a temperature monitor between the cells thats a good idea, what temperatures in deg C should I lookput for? sorry for late post. but i reverse engineered the yamaha battery a year ago. in case you want to build your own. Just get a Arduino compatible board and a few discrete components.
