Re: Speedict Ebike - Anybody seen/tried this?

Today I connected my Speedict as always with my battery 18S (4,15V per cell); but it has seen sparks in the Speedict and this no longer works, how I could repair it? I am interested in this because I would not mind paying 15 € << No Fault Expedite Replacement Services >> Over the years we have expe...

Manually discharge cell # 10 to 3.76V caused cell delta to 44mV, and see if new algorithm can balance charge it back to normal ... Is the balance charge discharging all the other cells to equilise to normal, or does it charge specifically the cell 10 (which would be better) it is balance while char...

Re: Speedict neptune lite

extended the end of charge cell voltage or cell voltage protection to 4.25v.

open more parameters on charge option menu, such as... set the charge terminate criteria with "WHEN PACK VOLTAGE >= 63.00V" AND "CELL DELTA <= 4mV"

Re: Speedict neptune lite

I am just about to build a 14S5P battery and would wait for the model 3 Neptune for my BMS, but what is the continuous and max current capability? Is there also any comparison charts between the different products you make? It's difficult to see exactly what is different. sorry about the late reply...

Re: Stack-able Low Cost Balancing BMS

The neptune draws power from the top cell. Total fail I interpreted "top cell" actually as powering from pack terminals, as ground is common usually and 3V will not be best voltage to work with. :) But we can ask again, more specifically. yes sir, Neptune Lite or next coming Neptune 1 pow...

Re: Speedict neptune lite

good question ! Will model3 balance cells only when they're hitting max voltage no, model3 constantly balance and compare cell delta voltage, dynamically adjust its cell release voltage, also provides 3 kind of terminations - TIMER, CELL DELTA, CV CHARGE CURRENT. balance all time? its depended on cu...

Re: Speedict neptune lite

Yes, if model 4 can be released significantly faster (and much cheaper) than model 5, I'd buy it without hesitation. As far as I know, there are no equivalent product in the market. I'd like to upgrade my battery to 20s and I'm for now limited to 15s which is (really) annoying. I'm not wanting to b...

Re: Speedict neptune lite

Usually it is controller related, most popular MosFets in DIY segment are 75V,100V and 150V and Caps go 63V, 100V and 200 (I believe), so the limits are set below those values. I have 5 controllers working on IRFb 4110 which are limited to 100V or 24S and 1 controller on IRFb 4115 limited to 150v b...

Re: Speedict neptune lite

N4 ? do you mean Model 4 ? you don't need cell balance ? and don't need charge discharge control / protection ? Yes, model 4, I would save on balancing and charge discharge control unless price difference is insignificant. how if maximum cell support set to 24 cells ? because of market and size con...

Re: Speedict neptune lite

How is power supplied to the unit? Does it drain particular cell group, leading to unbalanced pack? No, it take power from top cell. If yes N4 is not interesting. If it drains the pack evenly then N4 is the most interesting option for me personally. Size is mostly not a big issue with 20lbs battery...

Re: Speedict neptune lite

Hello, choicr is difficult without price, time to market and size. If model 4,5 and 6 are about same size, time to release and price I'd say model 6 obviously ;) But if 5 can be significantly cheaper and faster to release then 5 is favourites. Same for model 4 ;) Thanks for your comments and that's...

Does it have balancing function? (it says balancing on demand) Neptune Lite has no cell balancing function.
