Possibly a bit "rich" in sellers expectations...

EDIT: Correction! Currently about 465 US Dollars! Heck, even w/a bit of shipping costs might be sort of a unique conversion. :)

A black Bafang BB drive would look more fitting on there than the silvery alloy crank and chainrings anyway, I'd find a black derailleur too. Plenty of room for a triangle bag although wooden battery box would do nicely.

[moderator edit: I don't know if this is an authentic version or a reproduction, but it is ostensibly a "1945 Mochet Velocar"]

Is that an antique or a replica?
Where is it? Wish we had some real ones around here, or even some accurate replicas.

J... And you think maybe Alt. Planet ES is huge? Pic stumbled across on FacePlant (sp? meant FaceBook)... SO many sub-groups... Poster didn't say where that pic was taken, or ANY details... MAYBE FB group "extreme bicycle electric garage DIY"? But can't find it again. My guess? (Based on laminated maybe-wood body) It's a modern... maybe reproduction-ish.

Not to cast doubt on it being a Mochet, but there are other possibilities. People have been know to build a 4 wheel Fantom, (Swedish) etc. Which might even be Mochet inspired. Ardex, Julien, etc. resemble the apparently more common Mochet.

Pedal cars even come in luxury sedan gangster rides.

That's his Mk1, very similar design but has un-suspended kingpins. His Mk2 has double wishbones and IRS with nvinci's. If I had to run some rum I'd take his pedal car over mine any day. Wish I had his budget and skill set!

With Mk2 he's going modular, so he can do quick costume changes to gangster coupe, gangster ragtop, gangster pickup or gangster woody wagon.

Greenstar Bikes
Sustainable Bamboo Bikes

Greenstar's mission is to create quality bikes using the most socially and environmentally responsible materials and procedures available. With virtually no barriers to entry, no harmful emissions or byproducts, and no complicated infrastructure needs, bamboo is the perfect cash crop for emerging economies. Harvesting is simple and requires no complex machinery. Greenstar Bikes uses bamboo harvested by family farmers. And there's no work to be done after the harvest: no plowing, reseeding, or soil reclamation.

Product Description

The Ecoforce 1 is a single speed bamboo road bike with a reversible rear hub that easily converts it to a fixed-gear bicycle or fixie. The bamboo frame is very stiff yet still provides a smoother ride than steel or other alloys.

The Ecoforce 1 combines performance and beauty with environmental and social responsibility to deliver a fully functional work of art. Bamboo is one of the most environmentally sound and socially responsible natural materials on the planet. It grows fast, requires no pesticides or herbicides, and can be harvested over and over again without killing the plant. It's also stronger than steel, light as aluminum, and stiff like carbon fiber.
Currently Shipping Availability to Canada, USA. 4-6 weeks.
Roll yer own re an electric assist, but right now I imagine it'd be hard for a thief to resell.
