i have a 1000w hub motor that I'm currently lacing in a 24" rim. it will be powered by a 52v battery that is rated to 60A. the controller is only a 30A max. so I won't be using the battery's full potential, but that's fine for me (and the battery)... anyways, my question is probably a stupid question, but I was wondering if a mt60 connector will be sufficient for the phase wires. I have other connectors like large bullet, etc..., but it would be more clean and convenient if I just soldier on a couple of mt60s and call it a day. I know theoretically the mt60 can handle 60A, but do they actually do that? I'm worried that the thing will just melt even at 30A. I guess the bike will be rarely running at 30A anyways. only startup and full throttle on hills etc.. I think I should be fine, but I just want to get others input. otherwise, any recommendations for a different connector?
