I know some of you guys are into this stuff, before i BIN, should i be looking at a different light ? ( willing to spend up to 100$ )

Depends on what you are doing. I ride in town, BUT, the city is turning 25% of streetlights off to save money.

with full streetlights, I would go with his 250 lumen.

but depends on your needs.

See 200 feet in the dark at 30mph? or see 100 feet in semi-lit areas at 15 mph?

best

Looks good but get the package deal, http://cgi.ebay.ca/900-lumen-CREE-LED-SSC-P7-C-5-Mode-Ultrafire-Flashlight_W0QQitemZ200404439610QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item2ea909123a

I looked at the specs of the MC-E LED and it is being driven at 1,800mA

IF they use the BEST bin codes of an MC-E LED and drive it at spec it will put out 900 lumens at the LED. That light drives the quad-core LED at 1.8 amps but the spec is 2.8 amps. At best it would be 600 lumens at the LED if the regulator is stable with it's output. 4sevens is coming out with a MC-E light that should be driven at spec, handle vibration better and be higher quality. My guess is it will cost about $89 shipped and it should be available by the end of the month.

Another very interesting LED is the Lumisys SST-90 LED. The 9 sq. mm die is a monster but it can handle 9.2 amps at around 3.5 volts and produce over 2,000 lumens. There is a company that makes off-road LED lights and the regulator is rated for 60 volts. I am sure they are playing with the SST-90 and will bring out something in the next month or two. The light is a 2" square (50mm square) block with mount and you can slide more of them together for a light bar if needed. Since the buck regulator would work well with 48V LiFePO4 packs, it is a plug and play option. The 800 lumen version cost $129 with mount.

Please keep in mind that those kinds of intensities aren't allowed on car headlights. They'd be great for off road, though I wouldn't ride my ebikes off road at night. On the street you're going to end up blinding someone and causing an accident.
I do want a couple of them though, just not for my bikes, so count me in for at least 2 on a group buy if the price is right.
Did you see the pic on the site?
