10 kW
I just hit 10,000 electric miles on my E-Motorcycle.
I still have the original motor (Mars Brushless), it took 3 Kelly controllers in the first 100 miles, but since then same controller. Batteries were replaced at 7500 miles (were Sony VT cells, now Turnigy 20C), and I am due for some new tires soon.
This is my main commuter for work. I go 8.5 miles each way and my job allows me to roll it inside and charge up every night. At home it takes about .6KW/hr out of the wall to charge up. So it costs me about $.08 for 17 miles, about a 1/2 penny per mile.
So far a happy e-life
