An eBay $10 hand pump air horn kit.
One bolt/nut mounts the horn and the head bolt is used to mount the pump.
The sound is very loud and it is easily heard inside cars.
The squirrels scatter and jump onto trees when they hear me coming.
Lot's of fun.

Seems unpracticle to me. Better to get an airhorn working off a battery, then everything is more compact and its just a small switch then a huge pump. I havent looked, but I am sure you can buy one for cheap.

9 bucks or so, about half the cost of the electric horns that you show,

No wiring, no switches, controllable sound, light weight, good looking, fun as hell, LOUD!

I'm loving it!

Try one like this

powered by compressed air cannister - can be heard 1/4 mile away. gotta be loud enough. LOL

Mine is loud enough.

Instantly usable.

It looks much cooler.

And it never runs out of compressed air.

If I wanted maximum distance and loudest:

. . . . this is a horn-
   with a full size compressor hahaha

I like the simplicity and price of your horn boyntonstu, but the activation is not optimal for when user might really need to engage it. Kinda the same with a car horn actually (should be where your hands already are), but a little easier to work with than taking a hand off the handlebars in some situations. Perhaps we can think of another way to activate it?

Thanks,

If I am ever that close to an accident I would not consider sounding the horn as my first action.

My left hand controls the throttle and the front brake.

I use my right hand for the horn.

The action is very quick, perhaps only a second or two.

Some people laugh at the loud unexpected sound.
