Has anyone dealt with FASTTECH?
I have been attempting to buy some cells from them specifically, Panasonic NCR18650B Rechargeable 3400mAh 3.7V 18650 Li-ion Batteries

The link is here; https://www.fasttech.com/products/1420/10001980/1141100-panasonic-ncr18650b-rechargeable-3400mah-3-7v

As you can see down below the listing it says bulk pricing, 5+ at $7.88 down from $8.61 (2 pack). I thought that $7.88 or $3.94 per cell is a good deal. These appear to be top quality cells and would make an excellent ebike battery pack. However, they keep telling me something different, the last email saying that I had to buy +10 for any discount, etc.

Just wondering if anyone has dealt with this company before I send them any money.

Thanks

John

The are a very well recognised company. They deal with a lot of vaping products as well as other small items that are easy to post from China.
I have never had any issues getting refunds or exchanges and have always received everything purchased. They have an active forum on their website which is used by lots of consumers. It may be worth posting something up about the cells you want to buy on the appropriate forum area.

Although they offer free shipping which will take two to three weeks to arrive, it is worth choosing an express delivery option if you want things in a week. But then again batteries will obviously take a bit longer and you will have to specify a certain type of delivery service to your country that will deal with cells.

Make sure that any thing you purchase says either 'in stock' or 'ships next day'. If it does not then avoid, even if it says expected delivery/restock is the next day. This is a bit like hobbyking... Lol

Their items will usually say 'authentic' in the description if it is the real deal.

Although they offer free shipping which will take two to three weeks to arrive,
...... or 2 to 3 months like my purchase of 26650 holders.

But this was quicker.

Have you checked out NKON's website at http://ru.nkon.nl/
http://ru.nkon.nl/rechargeable/18650-size/panasonic-ncr18650b-made-in-japan.html
2.55 euros for increments of 35.
1E = $1.44 CAD or $1.11USD plus their shipping is reasonable. You can easily view shipping charges with their website.

P.S. When I did the conversion, its actually $3.65 Canadian...did I miss something?

Well they got back to me immediately..90 euros to ship so, 300 cells plus shipping about $1200 Canadian. I am going to make a pack for myself and for a customer. Cant wait to see how they perform in my bike project.

You can always give Banggood a look.. they got active sales staff, might be able to answer your questions.. They don't sell as much vape stuff as fasttech but do sell all the popular well selling gear instead as far as I can tell and appear to be fierce competitors..

Thanks for the tip!

I checked them out but best price comes to $6 a piece, or about $ 2.00 more a piece than NKON. Depending on who wants what, I will be ordering very soon.

Either Fasttech or NKON would be great choices. Just a matter of cost of product and shipping price and shipping time.

I did a quick check for you. Fasttech always seems higher, but they do offer free shipping so.

NKON is 2.55 euros for your battery which is = ~$2.80 USD per cell plus shipping. I did a table of their shipping charts some time ago but its in the deeeep pile of papers.

You might as well buy now because the euro took a dive with their BREXIT vote.

NKON shipping chart levels: 125 pcs was the cut-off point for 30E in shipping costs. 145 pcs for 35E. Then smaller increments for 5E increases in shipping.

P.S. When I did the conversion, its actually $3.65 Canadian...did I miss something?
Yes that is the correct conversion.

... speaking of FastTech (not their batteries, but "other stuff"...)

Currently I see they're selling "Electric Bicycle Pedal Assist Sensor PAS System Magnet Speed Sensor":

... fer watt THEY say is "Probably the best deal for a Electric Bicycle Pedal Assist Sensor PAS System Magnet Speed Sensor 5 magnetic disk USD 7.87 as of 1/23/2018 - Free shipping worldwide on all orders. Prices unbelievably cheap."...

Seen here:

Just FYI.
