Thunder Power tp1430c 13s and 14s pin configurations

Can anyone help me make sure I have the balancer wires configured correctly on the tp1430c? a schematic would be nice. I have a 13s lilo pack that has 2 balance connectors JST-XH 6s and 7s. I had it wired to work with the Hyperion 1420i. Which, I believe, is configured differently. I say that because I plugged in the 7s connector into the first 7s jack and when I added the 6s connector into the 2nd 6s jack on the balancer board, it melted the first pin on the 6s jack. I'm guessing that the 2nd jack, whether it be 6s or 7s, doesn't have the first pin as ground. and if this is the case, should I just rewire it so that pin1 is cell 8, pin2 is cell 9, etc etc? and wouldn't that mean that the last wire would be ignored? or do I use a 5s jst-xh connector as the second half of the pack?
