New private message has arrived

Watt? AGAIN??

I guess ES "Foe List" can/will hide messages in the forum... but NOT "turn off" emailed notifications? (Currently email inbox being peppered w/multiple emails.) This from someone system says has already posted dozens of messages, and I suggested lots of others here might respond (to something I don't know much about anyway...) ... plus asked if perhaps they had had a brain injury of some sort?

Anybuddy here can help "fine tune" ES to switch off "private messages"/emails?

What works well is when the moderators induce those nuts to put you on ignore. It hasn't been perfect, but still pretty good. I hate to just stop opening those messages, not everyone here is crazy, but the annoyance factor when a dingbat gets started probably outweighs anything good in PMs.

Hehe... "annoyance factor"... "dingbat"... Honestly have ZERO use for any "PMs" -private messages as emails. [Sigh] Any chance just to turn "feature" off?

Yeah Isn't there a setting of 'email for' blah blah? Turn it off and get no emails for posts or pms.

Or just change your email in profile to: someting blatantly rude and random? Better yet, change it to a foe's email addy?
