Problem Crimping Female JST Terminals

Hey Guys,

When I crimp female JST terminals (which are very short length) the raised pin that sticks out (the one that locks it into the plastic connector) is being flattened to a point it's one with the rest of the terminal and can't be lifted.

It's a problem only with those short terminals since longer terminals have the raised locking pin further away from the part that is being crimped.

What am I doing wrong?
