Thanks for letting me join!

This is a small EV Mini Car Project we are just wrapping up.

We sort went a bit overboard with the whole build. It leverages a motor/controller kit from Thunderstruck Motors and a 48 Chevy Volt battery. Disc Brakes and a differential jack-shalf. We fabricated the frame from scratch and the body is from a mold that made the original '65-66 Mustang Jr's.

Here are a few pictures.

Top speed about 27 mph and no idea yet on run-time. I ran it about 3 hours last weekend and the battery still reported 95%!

Monday it will be in it's first parade.

It is generating a lot of fun and interest.

Nice work, and welcome!

Looks like you are good at making stuff. My only comment on it is where are your helmets? It is open cockpit after all.

Anyway, welcome to ES!

:D

We will have to work on the videos. It is rather heavy and won't quite break the tires loose on pavement. But it does scoot!
