Atmega328p 8 bit MCU

Hello all at Endless Sphere. I have been brain storming for the pass few years on the idea of building my own speed controllers based on the atmega328p. My application voltage will be in the range of 60-75v dc and around 200- 300a continous. I found a few LDOs and DC to DC converters that will able me to power the 328p with the 5v required. I do realize Atmel has its own forums for my purpose i just wanted to stop by ES first. Any questions are welcomed thanks for any help and advice.

The ATmega32M1 is more suitable for this purpose due to the Power Stage Controller built into the chip. It also comes in larger memory configurations which might be useful for development and features.

Thanks for the reply. I saw a cool video on the tube a guy took a Atmega168 developement board and build his own speed controller for his EV. He provided is own power stage board complete with mosfets, drivers, caps, resistors, op amps and comparators etc. I want to do the same. My interest in the 328p was because of its simple stand alone wiring and programming. So any ideas on a board where i can do the same. If more info is needed ill provide
