Hello all.

I purchased a 60v/72v sine wave 80A 3000W controller on Aliexpress.
It is basically brandless, but looks alot like the sabvoton ml7260 as it has the same measurements and looks. http://www.sabvoton.net/static/upload/image/20191016/1571209852610975.jpg

On the sticker it says EM-100

They seem to be sold widely on ebay- amazon etc etc.

The issue is that there are no learning wires on the device. I hooked the controller up correctly, but all I see is a red flashing LED on the back. It came with no manual whatsoever. The seller refuses to help me out as the 15 days claim period has expired.

There is a rubber cab on the device where an 8-pin din female plug is missing. I assume this is for programming.

Does anyone have directions for me to get this thing put in use?

Kind regards,

Alexander

Best bet is to look at these threads

about Votol controllers to see if any existing info will help. Most likely you'll need to either get the programming cable/software (if yours has a place to connect one), and set up the controller from your computer (or the phone app if it has bluetooth), or you'll need to go thru the full hall/phase combo wiring test to find the right combination for your specific motor.

Thanks AmberWolf.

I checked the threads. My controller has 3 rows of pins on the largest of the two connectors, exactly like in this picture http://www.sabvoton.net/ml/ml7260.html
As far as I could find Votol EM controllers have only 2 rows of pins but then again mostly three connectors.
Do those EM controllers come with learning wires you have to use to setup the controller for initial use; to get the correct forewords movement of the BLDC? Mine has two pairs of them, green and white but they are labeled in Chinese for soft/hard start and 60v/72v

Come to think of it now: Could that blue connector be for programming?

hi , sorry if i'm replying in wrong way, but i'm using the same controller from last 6 months and it's a great controller , there is no self learning wire, it automatically pairs with the motor, red led is always blinking (as long as i know it don't show anything more than just powered on status.
for wiring, these stupid seller share one type of pic , but they comes with different color of wires with each controller, i figured out mine with the following photos, and some with trial and error.
overall this controller is silent, very good torque and can reach 85-90Amps, best thing is if phase wires short out, it doesn't blow any mosfet, happened to me twice.
i'm searching for a way to connect it to pc and enable regen somehow, as this controller doesn't come with, and internally it's almost the same as real EM-100, only difference i have noticed is that real one have 16 mosfets and this one has 12 mosfets.
if you found a way to connect it to pc or enabled regen, plz share it here as well, thank you.
