I was thinking the same thing!!
Or I could just switch out the sprocket to chain.
Then I'm guessing the chain part on the right is the gearing? I was talking to a guy who runs 13 tooth chain off the motor and a 65 rear sprocket off the motor which he said has worked great.
Just confused if I should remove that belt setup off the motor and go straight chain, since I'm planning on going at least 1000w
If I run a setup like that
ie - off motor 13t to 65 t
Do I need to have the same setup (13+65) on the other side? Trying to understand gearing and I think it's starting to come clearer now... That would be a 5:1 ratio I believe
Thanks for your help, I'm slowly understanding it, I'm going to remove the current setup today
