Too much "new" all at once (steering, body style) but it makes me want to have a fahrt anyway...

Yeah. However, it does NOT look like it will steer.

Hub-centric steering is almost magical with how well it steers, and eliminates a number of undesirable motorcycle steering effects caused by traditional telescopic forks.

It's just damn tricky to design it and build it right so it has no slop in the controls. It had been used for at least half a century in various 2 wheeled designs, then ELF racing made a racing superbike with a hub-centric front-end and it worked well on the track.

If hub-center steering wasn't a pain in the dong, you'd see a lot more examples.

Check out the Yamaha GTS1000 for one noteworthy and successful version.

i like it
Just need to lose the mirrors and and add new bars
And add a classic single headlight

The center of gravity looks like it may actually be too low for the seat height

This is not a car where lower is always better

Maybe a semi recument with the legs tucked for aero would suit the ultra low cg

Boy, that's one strange looking bike. It will get lots of attention though.

I'd like to see one covered with fake fur.

I understand it know.
It is similar to an upright and axle on a car.
Just a lot more complex.

Basically you have the head/steerer tube inside the hub. Requires a large diameter hub that has clearance enough to swivel and large diameter wheel bearings. Has a bunch of potential advantages in better control of steering/caster angles with regards to brake diving as well as inboard suspension options. Frees one to change the conventional handle bar setup in some big ways.

Would look nice with a racing snail paint job!

It's fair to say I've never seen anything like that. They are certainly not lacking conviction when it comes to going for unique styling.

If people like the design it could become a massive hit.

I dunno. I'm pretty open minded about different designs but that kind of looks like a garbage can on wheels to me. :D

Very true!
Motorcycles have existed for a long time....all they've changed is the energy system....why did it need to be ugly as sin too?
