I went to it. http://evmc2.wordpress.com/2014/06/17/closing-the-chapter-on-vectrix-the-liquidation-auction/

...like going to a wake. The prices were all a lot higher than I expected, averaging about half of retail, which is odd, since most of the auction buyers I've ever worked with look to re-sell at that price. I've read some gossip that the battery, parts and complete scooters got bought by a company from Poland, which is interesting since they were manufactured there, but it's nothing but gossip AFAIK.

The fabrication equipment got bought up by the usual machine tool dealers in the area.

I checked into those batteries, as well as the other "test" batteries, and for motorcycle use they didn't show me much to write home about. I put in some bids on a few pallets, but they went for way higher than I was willing to risk.

It's going to be interesting to see where this stuff surfaces.

The two polish guys who bought most of the stuff were ex-vectrix employees. They are hoping to resurrect the brand.
