Hi there, I recently recieved a brushless motor from aliexpress and it runs for a second and then cuts out everytime and sometimes it just doesnt even run at all. the motor and controller I ordered are: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1500W-48V-Brushless-Electric-DC-Motor-1500W-Electric-Scooter-BLDC-Motor-BOMA-Brushless-Motor-Scooter-Parts/32620049151.html?spm=2114.13010608.0.0.rBP95l and https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1500W-1600W-Brushless-DC-Motor-Controller-48V-BLDC-Motor-Controller-for-1500W-1600W-48V-Electric-Scooter/32628585138.html?spm=2114.13010608.0.0.rBP95l. I was wondering if anyone knows what the problem may be?

Thanks in advance

First two things I'd look at are...

Incorrect phase/hall combo. May be a false positive. Wiring colour to colour is NO guarantee of it being correct.

or less likely,

Battery voltage sagging down below LVC if it can't supply the required current. Should be no problem if you are testing no load (wheel in the air).

Easier to run sensorless on that motor

Well from the way its spinning up I'd say there is nothing wrong with the motor connections.

here is a question: how come you are using a potentiometer instead of the throttle you have there?

I'm guessing you either got the potentiometer hooked up wrong or it's broken.

I would try the hall effect twist throttle and see if that works.

Im using the potentiometer because I thought it might be a throttle problem but have now tried multiple throttles and the same result
