Hi,
I have a Citycoco 1000W 60V type scooter and I can't yet find why it won't run. I've been trying for a couple weeks.
It turns on, but the throttle does nothing. I hit a few bumps, ran the battery down and also had a slow leak from a long woodscrew when one afternoon i charged up and the throttle then did nothing.
i have tried replacing the throttle and the speed controller and buying a multimeter to test, but i am somehow in the dark still.
today i tried connecting the new throttle to the new multimeter and testing bypassing the old throttle cable, but still so much nothing that it seems like the replaced controller is still not reacting to the replaced throttle at all. like, not feeding it power.
i hope that someone can please help a bit! i don't know whether to order a new motor ($100) or a tester device ($13 + 4 weeks wait.)
I know that the controller reacts to the brakes being stuck on by not throttling. what about when the brakes are disconnected? or when the tire is flat?
