I think that I need to replace the motor on my 'citycoco' style 1000w scooter. It seems to have a bad 'hall' sensor - i will test farther.
In the meantime, does someone here know where I can order the replacement motor/wheel?
I am thinking of getting knobby tires since I live in a more rural area. Are there better motors easily selectable if I put more money into it?
I can get ahold of the guy who sold me mine and he can send an identical replacement for $100, but I thought I would check around first, especially if it is easy to order a different combo on these? 225-50-8 or whatever is uncommon. Would I need the help of a shop to swap tires/motors? What about replacing the hall sensor instead?

See my other thread - the motor turns off with a clunk after a few rotations of the tire with weight on it.

Hello again ford442

The motor are integrated in the rim on the citycoco.
That's why the front is steel and the rear is aluminum

So there's probably best to change the whole thing.

Do u have pictures of the controller?
