Merlins tire opinions:
241 trials I would say 50/50 street/Offroad.
Good on hard terrain. Street, rocks, normal Offroad stuff.

They suck on wet conditions (Offroad)
Muddy your totally out. Street wet is OK.
Just think about what these tires are made for... Trial stuff, no cornering needed.

244 shinkos I put them to 65/35 street/Offroad.
They are a bit heavier but not that much that you should make your decisions against them.

MX tires are
4-5/10 street... 3/10 wet street.... 9/10 Offroad, wet/muddy 10/10

Sr241/sr244
7/10 street.... 6/10 wet street..... 5/10 Offroad ,wet/muddy 2/10

244 will last longer than 241... They getting really loud after half of live time on street.

Speeds:
The bike will do 45 mph (72km/h) with stock gearing (48T)
With the upgraded sine-wave controller it tops out at around 52 mph (83km/h)

52 tooth Sur-ron rear sprocket gives the bike a
little more grunt with minimal loss in top speed.
42 mph(67km/h) top speed vs. 45 mph (72km/h)

58 tooth Sur-ron rear sprocket adds 20% to the acceleration and hill climbing while taking the
top speed down from 45 mph (72km/h) to 38 mph (61km/h)
With the upgraded sine-wave controller it tops out at around 45 mph (72km/h)

Motomoto here on ES is the manufacture of the 55T along with the 52T and 58T

nice find Allex!
looks well thought-out with the linkage suspension and the two stage belt/chain drive.
The motor looks like the golden motor HPM3000. what do you think?

Love it! That thing looks cool!

At 50kg, it probably weighs more than the person in that picture supposedly holding it.

For a motorcycle, I guess that's pretty light, but the ad pic.... :/

I just imagine her arms severing themselves at the elbows and the motorcycle falling and crushing her legs too.

Looks like a HPM3000 very much so!
The bike seems to be at pre-production stage. So it seems you need to deposit 2000yuan before they start to build yours?

I like this! Looks like about $2750 for the bike. Who knows how much to ship? Wish Google could translate the characters in the pictures. Should be higher voltage than 60, but it's the style of frame I am after. Wonder if they'll sell without batteries?

I'd buy one just for the frame even if it was a turtle......looks excellent and a good start for a high power bike.

It does translate pictures, just download the phone app.

Didn't catch the app you recommended. Got a bit more info from their website Sur-ron.com. I couldn't find any wattage info, which would be nice to know. Also there are a few videos on the v.qq.com. I had to search using the characters for Qiu Long.

Particularly like the pic of the girl in her fart shirt. Sorry don't have time to cut it down to size. Open in another tab to view the whole picture.

What does it say on this image of the controller?

No pedals.

That's the best part.
All those illegal electric motorcycles on this forum posing as electric "bicycles" by having pedals attached to fool the cops are laughable...

This popped up in my Sur-Ron googling. Looks like this isn't the only model they make.

https://youtu.be/8etKQVm9SSM

They do make a "real" electric motorcycle unlike the above "bike" . Its called the white ghost. They have another good vid about that on this page:
http://www.sur-ron.com/product/angel.htm
Which I could put a direct link, but can't figure out how to do that. It shows up in the page info as http://cnimg.sur-ron.com/us/en/img/170618/f.mp4?t=2.8, but that goes to what looks like a chinese 404 page.
The video is pretty high quality and shows some impressive scenery. Doesn't look like China to me, but if so they do have some great landscapes.

Wicked looking bike, any guess how much the shipping would be? Like $900.00 USD or something like that?

Where does the $2750.- price come from? All I can find is the 2000 Yuan (appr. $280.-) on their webshop page.

Looks like it says 15,800 yuan ($2,372, did the exchange rate drop that fast or did I screw up?)) original price under the #1 and 14,800 is the Hair day? price, whatever that means. Granted I don't know any Chinese, so could be very, very wrong. I'm relying on google to translate for me. It does look like under #5, the bike will start shipping on August 20th. I imagine this is somewhat of a kickstarter campaign with pre-orders. That is where the 2000 yuan comes in as a deposit.

I just can't find a contact button on the web page. I tried to email them from the Sur-ron page, but never heard back.

some specifications of the HPM3000 motor:

7,3kg
5000rpm max
>90% eta
25/10Nm peak/continuous torque
180mm dia
125mm height

Power is rated for 2-3kW and 6kW pweak which seems to be very conservative when looking at the performance curves.
