mobile electric scooter mechanic Vancouver recommendation

No, you probably won't, unless you lick the wires or something. Just watch out where the bare ends of the wire are going during the swap.

60v is on the threshold of where you might feel something if you touch it. Wearing gloves, even disposable rubber gloves, won't hurt.
I would be more worried about accidentally shorting the battery and making a big spark. Disconnect the main wire coming from the battery first and put tape over the end so it can't touch anything. Then you can do the rest of the work without worrying about anything. Lastly remove the tape and make the main connection.

First:

What specifically makes you want to replace the breaker?

Next:

A breaker only uses one side of the battery wiring (probably positive). So as long as you touch only those wires, and don't touch them to antyhing else, you can't hurt anything.

Touching them to each other won't do anything bad, though if the breaker is also the power switch, then it may spark when touching them together, but wont' hurt anything. If the breaker is not also the power switch, and hte switch is off, then there won't be any problems at all even fi the two breaker wires touch each other.

Success.... thx for responding. It is basically 2 wires and moving other parts aside to get to the mounting screws ... $36 and $1.25 for a short handled screwdriver at the dollar store and I have power and charging again
