Hehe... Good spotting. :) Don't usually see hub motors with vents/air cooling (?)... maybe that's why... :wink:

there is no need for that. i find it hard to believe any company would intentionally cut holes to compensate for underspeccing their motor and it is also very sloppy to have holes for a disk brake on the wrong side of the motor. its a warranty nightmare.

its seems very janky just from a engineering perspective.
