Hello there starting a post for all of you who are interested to getting more information directly from the manufacturer and from the Development team of the REVX bike. All questions will be appreciated and you will get honest answers. A lot of things are happening with REVX right now. We are in production and planning to make fifty motorcycles this year. Why is the number small, it is because we are a small company concentrating and high quality. Everything is made in house under our own control. The production is directly linked to continuous development a product is continuously upgraded to be the best possible. Bo Mrazek

Very cool. Loving the bike design, quality and specs. I am hoping to swing my legs over one when in CR during summer.

Any plans for some sort of a distributor for North America, so shipping is made easier for people living there?

Good luck with the bike.

Hi. I would like to know a little details about the controller and battery you are running.
What kind of amps possible? How many FET's? Max voltage? Max output power on stock battery?

What cells are you using for the battery? And what configuration? 20s?

Btw, does the controller live inside the battery box now? I saw a rather new pic in another thread here on the forum a few days ago and I can't remember there was a frame mounted controller anymore on the bike. From memory I seem to recall earlier versions of revx had frame mounted controller? Could be wrong, because its been a few years since I first read about revx.

Can you share a little about the motor? What motor are you using? Or are you making you own motors?

What kind of travel for the suspension? It seems from the back of my mind there was some talk way back when around the launch of the RevX that is should have linkage rear suspension but from what I saw in recent pics it seems it does not? Btw I can't view the pics in this thread for some reason, I can see you put in pics but they won't show on my screen.

Looks like a Horst Link rear suspension to me.
Great to see the parts in process pics. Tons of work there to take those raw castings and turn them into a frame!
I'm interested to learn more about the controller and motor too.

Hm ok I must read up on suspension ;)
I thought Horst Link rear suspension was the use of two linkages on the seat tube and that the shock was mounted vertical close to the seat tube inside the triangle. Seems to remember I once looked for a donor bike with horst link for that very reason so that I could get more real estate from the triangle for a bigger battery pack.

Guess my understanding was too simple or even downright wrong. Or my old mans memory got clogged or possible buffer overrun or cache problems. :D

this video describes the suspension and other bike features..

Yeah it all comes back to me to now. I've seen this video and another one with the same voice......the best in the world, the best magnets, the best, the best. If this is the the guy designing, manufacturing, and selling this bike he should not be allowed to go on video. He comes off like a shady used car salesman. I couldn't even watch it all, because my blood pressure rises when he starts going nuts in the video.

NeoD magnets are OK, they are not the BEST magnets. What else is false in the video?

Nah. I'll stick with the sur ron another year. These videos and all the various information online it is really hard to tell if this bike is the tits or if it just one man over selling. And that video didn't help him. For sure this bike I wouldn't buy online, I would only buy after a real world test ride. Impossible to know what is what with this bike.

I think it might be located on top of the battery box:

if you drop surron the foot peg mounts break, if you jump surron the linkage breaks.. :p

I have 2 bikes as per the other thread and I think it’s one of them, until you see and ride one it’s hard to judge them I know nowt about all this tech electric stuff what I do know is the bikes are very strongly
Built the frame, hubs, wheels, spokes, foot pegs etc are all good quality kit and they ride really well I can’t think how it could be made any better, the seat looks a bit like a after thought but it works much better than it looks I’m not sure what power we’re running either and I belive more power is available but I’m sat on the fence with that at the mo as thinking it’s just about rite, what I can say is I don’t think it’s possible to go any faster on the trails we ride on any other bike these things go like a stabbed rat we have topped out at 55mph and the motor is howling at that speed,
We love ours and would buy again given the choice
Cheers..

Here is video with no voice :) i thing you get better idea about the performance of REVX https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7atk1JPa4SU&t=59s

The battery is 16P13S sony C6 i am taking out of the BMS +- 200A 250A is ok. Controller is running at 350A face. up to i think 70v. it is running warm. Motor i patented internal cooling the shaft to cool the magnets. Bike is 50 kg and all works perfect together. all the bikes out there are running 50-70% of the max power. Suspension works great, it is old linkage style wit a lot of space to work with. +- 200mm rear. There is always a little more to the story, it might be best to find out before you climb up on that high horse.

At least the stock linkage is just a usd $25 part. And there are much stronger aftermarket ones

ok then stock up on cheap parts and hope your next failure doesn't result in broken human parts??
or get a bike overbuilt instead of under.. choices, choices;)
