Nova Cruz Voloci Project

Post by EVGator » Jul 28 2020 10:21pm

I bought a Voloci from skeetab5780 a couple of years ago and have since moved from Atlanta to LA for a job in Aerospace. I am finally getting around to working on the bike. The goal is to get it running by any means necessary, which likely means throwing a 48V pack on and twisting the throttle. Long term, I'm not sure how much upgrading I can do before starting from scratch with a new chassis makes more sense. I will explore options for upgrading the motor/controller and ideally I would find a motor with more power that bolts in where the stock Kollmorgen motor is now..

Stay tuned 8)

Well this thread is unfortunately dead. I had the bike shipped freight from Georgia to California and it was lost by YRC. I fought for about 2 months to try to find it before giving up and filing a claim. It is a shame to lose a little piece of EV history, but I am starting a new project. R.I.P. Voloci.
