I decided to have just a stupid funny thread. I got some friends that like to just do stupid thing for laughs, and they are getting a kick out of playing with the electric vehicles. We took a few videos yesterday, and will probably be taking a few more, so I thought I would make a thread for comic relief. Nothing technical here.
This first series is with an electric shopping cart. I bought three that were "dead" from my work. Turns out one I just had to tighten the set screw on the belt pulley, another I just had to physically plug in the charger into the wiring harness, and the other, every once in a while has some jerky, out of control forward/backward movement switching while just holding the throttle steady in one direction.
So we took the 3rd cart with the controller issue and overvolted it. Originally 12 volts, we bumped it to 36v. I figure if I was gonna blow up a controller with too much volts, might as well be the one that already isn't working properly.
Please excuse all the laughing in the videos, but it just couldn't be helped.
