Hi guys,

finally i have some progress to show on my build. My build thread can be found here on elmoto forum:
http://www.elmoto.net/showthread.php?2141-e-Cruiser-version-1-0-build-thread

I started the project around february 2012. In a nutshell:
- 28 GBS cells, 100 ah for about 10 kwh
- Curtis controller
- HPEV's AC-20 motor 37 kw
- the final build should be around 300 kgs, excl driver, a real hog !
- there will be a fiberglass body around the bike, so we won't see the batteries and the rest. We'll probably 3D scan the bike and 3d print the mould and then lay fiberglass on it.

i'd like the bike to look like this one when done:

Here's the work i've done these past couple of days:

so, more progress today, i finished the cabling of the pack, short video below,

and a question for you guys, you'll see i''ve used 00 awg cable connected to an aluminum bussbar at 90 degrees angle,
if you know of a better way to insulate this part of the connector, i would appreciate to hear from you, i'm not that satisfied with the way i've done it.

thanks

Allright, the fiberglass parts are done now, remains to fix them to the frame,
so before the end of the month, the beast will be ready to be painted,
i'm going for anthracite with some stainless air intakes, and will probably leave the fork red,

3d model here, scanned with this 123dcatch free iphoen app, just click on 3d view button and rotate the model with the mouse,

some pictures below

i'm still looking for a cool 3d design to add in the middle of the round shape (yes, we've used a wheel cap)
