How to recycle old Lipos?

What have people done before?
2013 DB Haanjo Commuter with BBSHD and Zzipper fairing
Marin Rift Zone FS with BBSHD
Kysmo "lab" bike with 350w hub motor
Ryan Vanguard recumbent LWB with a 36v Cyclone 350w middrive and a 56v MAC 5t in the front hub.

Leave them at a recycling station?

Places like Home Depot will take them - at least smaller ones. Make sure that you fully discharge the before disposing of them. I use a halogen headlight bulb if the pack is 12V or less.

I take mine to Batteries Plus. Couple of times they were hesitant to take bigger cells such as those that came out of Hybrids and EVs, but so far no rejections.

Thanks, everyone. I will discharge. It is a long thin delivery bike pack so hopefully won't scare anyone.
