Hello

I'm about to buy this
https://a.aliexpress.com/m2fhN9Au

It apparently has enough power to spot weld 0.27mm nickel strip.

Any thought? Sounds like a good find

Better off with kweld or Arduino community spot welder both are supposed to do better more repeatable welds and are aren’t plugged to trip fuses.

For good spot welding, you need "controlled current", "controlled welding time" and "controlled pressure".

It's also best if you have a foot pedal so you can engage the welding after you placed the electrodes on the correct spot and brought them under the correct pressure. It will spark a lot less and be a more pleasant experience. The electrodes will also last longer.

What do you mean by tripping fuse?
