Hello.

I have a Bestech BMS HS-006 board and I use it for a 12 cell lipo. problem is that after a few hours of discharge the cells are severely out of balance. where the difference between min and max voltage reaches 700 mv. Now in the setup software it is possible to make the BMS disconnect the battery when the difference reaches 1000mv but I don't know what to modify so that the BMS will start balancing since apparently it doesn't. The Bestech representatives are super unhelpful with this and even won't provide a manual for their software so I would appreciate if anyone had any suggestions.

I am adding a picture of the setup software.

Why would you want to balance them when they are discharged?
The same thing will happen when you charge them again.
I would suggest you stop discharging them right before the cell voltages start to stray, like 3.3V per cell most of the times.

If you really want to balance your cells all the time you can lower the Open_V parameter to 3000mV under the balance section.
