I found this a while back on hobbyking it is unavailable at the moment but banggood and aliexpress both have them in stock.
It has a battery balancing function available similar to the battery medic that has been out for years but it is a lot more accurate.
It does not have a discharge and balance function like on the battery medic but we cant have everything.
I opened on up to see how the balance function worked with a mind to putting it on steroids so to speak, I found inside there were a bank of 8 680 ohm 1206 SMD resistors, one for each cell I presume.
Lifting the resistors has not been too difficult what I need to know is what size and wattage of resistor to replace the resistors with to speed up the balancing process. My guess would be a 3 watt metal film through hole resistor, but what resistance would be required?
