Hi folks,
here is my implementation of a simple mechanical antispark switch.

took a while to understand what you have done there, so I drew a line to make it a bit clearer, very nice solution.........I'm inspired.....guessing you soldered the additional contact piece on left side to the bolt?
and soldered the wire on right side to that bolt........its a really neat solution.

I love it.

A little-known feature of contacts that swipe sideways is that turning it on or off will wipe the surfaces and it performs a mild cleaning action. With the anti-spark mechanism, there would be very little erosion at the first point of contact.

I can see some chinese company copying this, if it hasn't been done already, very nice work.

I really hate it when people post something specifically so others can benefit from it, then go back and delete their stuff.

It's like they thumb their nose at everyone and go nyaah nyaah faked you out.

Battery hookup has a lot of different switches I see realize I don't know. But here
