What's the opinion on the advisability of charging a 48V 14Ah LiFePO4 pack using a 6 amp charger? It's a bigger charger than I have been using and just wondering if that's charging the pack too quickly. Same question for a 2nd pack I have - also 48V, but 10Ah.

All depends on the specs of the bms used. I'm sure you could charge the pack at 1C (14A) or more without a problem. The bms is the limiting factor. Just another reason I don't use one.

If your bms is limited to 5 amps, like many are, then you may be able to turn down the amps on your charger.

Vibration or just the shipping may have moved the pot to output who knows what. So checking with a wattmeter is a good idea from time to time. You have to do the adjustment when you first hook up a pretty well discharged battery.
