I have this 14.4v 360mah battery meant for a small printer. It is completely dead and the printer won't charge it for some reason so I wanted to put a small charge on it then try again. I went to charge it on my b6ac and the voltage went up to 26v so I shut it off. Is this normal?

did it overheat when charging to 26v?

if no, then you have an open circuit somewhere you should resolve.

if yes, then it is toast.

It didn't overheat. I just let it charge since the cells did not get hot. I noticed the voltage variate from 26v to 17v. The charger said it was fully charged within a few minutes. It had 17v but was draining on it's own fast.

I couldn't find any option to change the number of cells in the menu.
