BMS Testing

Post by James Broadhurst » Feb 10 2017 12:59pm

This is the discharge graph of a 10S4P pack. The BMS appears to be creating an exaggerated sawtooth waveform for Cell 1 and this waveform appears whether charging or discharging. Cell 1 is the -ve end of the pack. The BMS is from Aliexpress (and is the most expensive one I've tested!) and has the code 16.08.08 ZLA10 printed on it. The frequency is 2.9 per minute. Is this familiar to anyone?

Sorry, the data is collected off an iCharger 1010B device and it occurred to me that I ought to be able to see such a slow frequency on my DVM, and I can't so it must be being created somewhere between the laptop and the iCharger serial link.
