I have a Dirtbike, which is offroad only and electronic start.
The Lead-Acid battery has died. I have access to a bunch of 18650 cells... I am considering making my own battery.
If I created a 4s3p array of 18650's (no BMS), would it work OK in a Dirt bike?
The bike sees around 4 hours use (single session) every 8-10 weeks. The Lead Acid seems to be forever going flat because of this usage pattern.
All of the cells are 2900mAh Samsung Cells recovered from a 36v ebike.
YouTube and Forums don't really seem to be covering this topic much.
