Yeah, I saw those the other day and thought they were 18650 and got excited.

Not that exciting when you look at capacity curve either it gets eaten away super hard on a decent discharge.

The most I can fit on a 33inch wheelbase in my current eboard design is 60 18650 cells in a 10s6p configuration. Max Ah using hg2 cells is 18 Ah @36v. I can fit 60 NCR20700b cells within a 33inch wheelbase which gives me 24Ah @ 36v. At 5 amp per cell they also outperform everything in the 18650 class. Not a good choice for small packs but far better in large packs.

It is actually good too for compact packs just expensive.

Discharge curve is really nice, voltage doesn't sag much up to 20A but temp is going up quite fast past 15A.
Still it can deliver the punch and bring more than 3500mAh, that's impressive.

I never get interested in the Wh/kg debate because you fit the best you can fit in the space you have, just like Chaka said. The rest is irrelevant mathematics masturbation.
