bluetooth BMS?
Re: bluetooth BMS?
Guys, is it possible to cut off temp probe and fit a switch to short the wires and use it to switch load off that way?
bluetooth BMS?
Most of the boards have an unpopulated K1 plug that does exactly what you want.agniusm wrote:Guys, is it possible to cut off temp probe and fit a switch to short the wires and use it to switch load off that way?
Re: bluetooth BMS?
I have smart bms with software : ANT.BMS APP /firmware issue. The internal battery temperature sensor 1: shows -13c 2: 17c Ive tried rebooting , reinstalling. samething hooked up another smart bms same thing, even tried another sell phone. same. my problem is I went with the setting on my cell hooked up the second bms it sent the same info to the bms.
I need to reboot the bms wipe it clean same with my cell phone for it to work, start fresh. how does one reset bms?
it activates by connecting red and black wire on it. software side does reboot software not firmware so i am stuck.

The people on this store are totally lost, great price, crap knowledge

Thanks a lot mate.
Re: bluetooth BMS?
OK, I see now LLT claims to be a subsidiary of JBD.
My question is, as @eee291 states, are LLT really just a seller of the exact same BMS (JBD makes) or do they design and build their own products?
If the latter, does anyone know both well enough to comment on differences?

Re: bluetooth BMS?
When you buy a BMS from LTT its still labeled as a JBD BMS so I'm pretty sure. I used to buy them from there because you'd always get the newer versions, on Aliexpress it's pretty random.john61ct wrote: ↑Dec 28 2019 2:17pmOK, I see now LLT claims to be a subsidiary of JBD.

Re: bluetooth BMS?
Just got the 20s JBD BMS Up and running. Why is resistance uniformity not showing anything ? And where can I check IR of the cells ?
And what does this lock , unlock thing om the Main screen ?
Thanks

Re: bluetooth BMS?
I'm pretty sure it can't check IR of the pack or individual cells.
The battery score improves or worsens based on the condition of the battery, try cycling it a few times.

Re: bluetooth BMS?
It disables the C- discharge port, good when you are transporting the battery.

Pretty much, I've only used it once myself.

Re: bluetooth BMS?
That is a very cool project. I dont understand why nobody responded to your reply. Did you ever get this project up and running ??kolin wrote: ↑Mar 25 2019 1:45pmHi,
I am working on my little software project for reading this BMS wirelessly over BLE from ESP32.
ESP32 connects to BLE module, sends request for data and parses incoming data. Parsed data can be shown or LCD.
Not everything is implemented, code is a mess and there are bugs. But basics works.

I hope it will be useful to someone else.
Re: bluetooth BMS?
A little question for those using recent v.3.1.1013 of the xiaoxiang app.
I find this new version very important, as it provides access to all the functions, including those which required the UART box (kinda impractical once the BMS is stashed away).
But... I do not find anymore choice between "charge balance" and "static balance". More importantly, when looking at the screen with single cell voltages during charge, I cannot see the flashing "B" attesting that a specific cell is being balanced. (To be precise, only cell 1 sometimes shows "B" for a brief moment but only when changing into the cell screen.)
It seems that everything is working correctly, cells remain balanced, and the pre-charge unbalalanceis smaller than post-charge. Still, I'd like to be sure that everything is ok. Am I missing something?

Re: bluetooth BMS?
OK thanks
https://www.electric-skateboard.builder ... r/71509/17
So the data comm protocols for these BMS are the same as that used for DaveGA?
Or just talking about using it as a jumpoff point for a BMS-specific display project?
