Hey guys,

Just received my 0.1mm thick copper strip, tried to weld it to an 18650 that has a 0.15mm thick pure nickel on it (copper welded to nickel) and even though I'm kind of maxing my welder, the spot welds on the right hand side electrode are very strong and rip the tab when pulling on them but the left side gets disconnected super easy.
I cleaned and sanded the electrodes, both same shape, the right one isnt more sharp or anything, but same results.
Is that maybe because the current starts flowing from the right to the left electrode or something like that and it loses current on the way to the left electrode?
