Hi,

this is a follow up on my other topic. It seems that the BMS is defective. Charging seems to work fine but of course I do control the charging process.

My battery seems to be okay. Measuring the plus and minus pole of the battery itself shows me 56V. Measuring the batteries plus and the input minus on the BMS leads also to 56V. But measuring the batteries plus and the output minus of the BMS leads to just 44.2V. I made a picture to show you exactly what I mean.

So my question is: What would happen if I connect the input and output minus pole on the BMS? I'd get 56V (I think) but would it have any serious impact (charging)? I just want to do it for a short time so that I can use the battery until my new BMS arrives. I'm living in Germany where I can't get a proper 14S 30A BMS. I have to order on Aliexpress and this takes some time as you might know.

Also I just don't get how 11.8V can be just "gone". Any possible explanation on this?

Any help is very appreciated.
