Cells sold with pre-soldered tabs

Has anyone used Li-ion or LiFePo4 cells sold with pre-soldered tabs :?:

For example http://www.batteryspace.com/lifepo4-32650-rechargeable-cell-3-2v-5000-mah-16wh---un-38-3-passed.aspx

Or http://www.batteryspace.com/A123-Sy...O4-26650-Rechargeable-Cell-3.2V-2500-mAh.aspx

That way you don't have to use a spot welder.

Also this seems to be interesting http://www.batteryspace.com/battery-holder-18650-2-cell-unlimited-expandable-battery-holder.aspx

I plan to do a pack using that method, any advices welcome :!:

NKON will also add tags (either U or Z) to the cells of your choice for +€0.55 per.

Yes, 18650 li-ion from NKON with tags. It works OK but is more work and not as neat as a spot-welded pack and I'm not sure I'd do it again as there is now more choice of spot welder's available.
