I have a Might Mini 52 volt from Luna Cycle
Luna Cycle says it's best to use their chargers and I wonder why

Also

What kind of charger can I use if I don't use Luna Cycle stuff ?

Luna chargers are on sale right now. the ez choice ? Plus that is a light duty battery so peddle first and be easy on that little battery.

use charger dedicated for li ion battery, and the amp should be ok for the charge port, better use 2 amp charger.
Because more amp might make the charge port melt.

You need a charger designed for a 52V battery. You don't need a high current one - I would buy it from Luna.
