I have a 6s 18650 with bms powering my amplifier but adding an on/off switch between the output of the bms and the amp makes the output voltage under 2v instead of 25v to power the amp what might be causing this? But when I disconnect the dc jack from the amp and connect it to a multimeter is reads 25v, just when I plug it in my amp it reads under 2v

I bypassed the bms output to power the amp but without the overdischarge protection of the bms I might damage my 18650 batteries

The switch im using is a spst one, maybe using a dpst will make it work?

From the + of the bms (P+) to the switch then to the + of my dc jack to the amplifier.

I just installed this switch, before I was just plugging the dc adapter to the amplifier and it would power it just fine. That's why I thought using a dpst switch will simulate the dc plugging and might solve the problem.
