no.

just get this:
https://malectrics.eu/

I have the original version of the maletrics going on 2 years and still running perfect. Its fragile that its mostly a circuit board with no case but I made my own case for it and I think he sells a case for it. But its not going be underpowered, you be able to weld as good as the AC models, the newer model he sells for 75 euros, thats cheaper then the AC one on your link.

I like that it fits on the palm of your hand and easy to store when not in use, and the best part is that it runs on any 12 volt car battery and the newer version you can power from a lipo battery pack. There are videos on youtube of the maletrics in action.

For best performance use 6 gauge pure copper welding cables for your probes, those cables will get every amp onto the tip of what your welding. If you use cheap copper clad cables, they will get very hot when you are welding because you well have to crank up the power setting to get good welds.

The problem with the AC welders are you need very good house current for them to work, otherwise they will be tripping the circuit breakers. With the maletrics I can weld over 80 lifepo4 cells easily with a small 28ah agm battery and still have plenty of power left over in the battery.

He sells a kit with everything you need exept a old car battery

Seems the kits are "out of stock" unfortunately.
thats too bad, but he does sell them.

that was my main issue, i make batteries for a living and i have 2 units on hand as a fail safe now so i can continue production if i blow the arse out of a set of mosfets (again).
but with the older chinesium AC welders i had massive issues in house with the insane currents it put on the house grid.
i fitted special D class breakers wich only half worked because after 10 min of welding it got heat saturated and just pop again. i had to remove the cover, put a fan directly on it to keep it from popping all the time. the welder itself needed massive airflow to keep it from blowing up.

it was just way too much hassle and when i litteraly blew up the welder i just bought a couple different battery based ones and i setteld on the malectric one with a fan. that has been the most reliable so far.

Malectric is verrry good as is the Boss model, though it is a little more fragile .

How fragile do you mean?

The pcb unit isn't encased so it is possible to accidently short the pcb if not careful, as it is all open to the ele ments. The polycarb top is a little fragile and the bit by the switch on my one has cracked. The Arduino on my one failed so have a new top pcb board to solder up despite this it is a good little welder.

Having used both mini welders I would say the Malectrics has the edge, it is a little dearer.
