OK. Have "swallowed the anchor" maybe, but about to order 2-3 more on these HS "Cruiser Bikes".
In the 3-4 months of rolling around Toronto sidewalks, (plus some "down time" re whole front wheel sub-assembly replaced - No Charge under warranty) literally hundreds of folks have said stuff like "Cool Bike" and "Rad(ical) Man!" etc.
(To which I have replied sometimes "Bet you say that to all the folks stuck in wheelchairs?" Hehe...)
So today cracked a fresh/new email address as PEPRentals@hotmail.com
...AND a new web site "Phoenix Ebike Promotions Cruiser Rentals
So the plan currently is to give wide exposure to this "Out of the box" vehicle from my current location (adjacent to a relatively wealthy cliff-top neighbourhood just east of some popular beaches and passed each day by thousands and thousands of cars and trucks, many appearing quite "spendy", and start to (hopefully?) generate some rental income.
So hope to built a fresh, new market for add-on/upgrades/conversions, with "gently used" trikes sold off each fall, then reordered "fresh" new ones for next spring.
(Hope that's not TOO sneaky eh?)
Opening rentals at $25 (INCLUDING the "HST" 13% combined Canadian Federal and Ontario provincial taxes, PLUS extra "healthy" and prepaid Damage Deposit to keep... errr... " some" away) for one 24 hour period, which seems like it might be a "sweet spot" pricing-wise based on randomly asking several passers by?
Anywhoo... The "State of The Nation" as of now.
Hope ES folks like this approach for earning some $$$.
Please say yes?
Hehe (Like I care.)
(Worst case, trikes can be sold off at a small loss. Hopefully.)
