Not in this(my) lifetime, but that's the first that would tempt me away from any ice performance sedan. Batteries still have a long way to go, unless the induction charging can be used as Tesla suggested 100years ago with Wardenclyffe

Do people think that 20% or more of cars on the road will be E within even 40 years? Right now it appears to be about .1% of 600million. With present tech, what kind of resource drain/pollution would be realized with all those highly refined elements used 200x?
That's not counting bicycles, because well, they're bicycles
